Is Collect really free?
Yes — for the rest of the 2025 tax season, every Collect capability is free. That includes back-office workpaper tooling, client self-onboarding via magic link, the AI questionnaire, document uploads, auto-categorization, and 7-year storage. No return cap, no per-seat fees, no card required. Deliver is the only paid product, at $10 per return.
What's the catch with the summer promo?
None — Collect is fully unlocked at $0. We'll give existing customers fair notice and grandfathering if pricing ever changes. Deliver pricing ($10/return) is unaffected.
Is there a contract or minimum?
No. No annual commitment, no monthly minimum, no platform fee. You can stop using Grove at any time and your bill goes to zero.
Do I pay for every preparer in my firm?
No per-seat fees, ever. Add as many staff as you need. Pricing is per return, not per preparer.
Am I charged for every return in my book?
Only when a client actually goes through Grove and uploads documents. Returns where you upload everything yourself are free. Returns you never touch are free.
Can I mix and match products?
Yes — turn Collect or Deliver on or off per return. Collect is free either way. Returns where you also deliver through Grove are $10.
What does Collect include?
The full intake workflow: prior-year return parsing, tailored document checklists, client uploads, auto-categorization, multi-page splitting, and a return-ordered workpaper packet with bookmarks and annotations.

Where does my client data live, and is it secure?
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, hosted in U.S. data centers. We follow IRS Publication 4557 and FTC Safeguards requirements and operate under a written WISP. Read the full breakdown on our security page.

Yes — for you and your clients, no extra fee, up to 7 years.
What if something goes wrong with a return?
Tell us. Missed checklist items, workpaper issues, anything else — we'll make it right or refund the return.
